Mrs. Becknell is excited to be teaching at the Atlanta Academy this year. She has been a teacher here in the after-school program for the last five years as a private piano instructor. Mrs. Becknell has a B.M. in piano performance and an M.M. in piano pedagogy from Georgia State University, as well as additional studies in piano and chamber music at the Aspen Music Festival and School. Mrs. Becknell is an active pianist and chamber musician in the Atlanta area, and she maintains a thriving piano studio in Duluth.
